What's Your Metaphor? Survey

Before completing the survey, read through and think about the following statements:
  • As a teacher, I'm like a ______________.
  • Sometimes when I teach, I feel like a _______________.
  • A teacher's role is to _________________.

In thinking about these statements, you probably realize that there are different metaphors for the different contexts of teaching and for the different roles a teacher takes on. Choose one metaphor that describes the most holistic aspect of your teaching, and then complete the survey questions below. All responses will remain anonymous and may be used in research for publications.
