Hi Darlene - I forget where I found the answer - the
truck is too heavy. The force exerted by the wings
(downward) is equal to the weight of the birds.
Therefore, the truck is too heavy.
Regarding your other question. My understanding of
heterogeneous grouping has more to do with ability
level rather than sex. Often, at the beginning of the
year I use more same-sex groups (comfort level at the
beginning of 7th), later on, I'll use more mixed-sex
groups.
