When should you expect your first hummingbird? So far this spring rubythroats have been reported in Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, and Georgia. Keep your eye on the map and predict when they'll arrive in your back yard.

Hammond, Louisiana
"We finally sighted a male ruby-throated hummingbird today. He has visited the feeders several times." 03/10/14

Jacksonville, Florida
"I've been keeping up with the migration map and saw them coming up from south Florida. I got out the feeders just in time for him.
