Crane-kids Get Unwelcome Visitor

The young cranes had been returning to the safety of the pen to roost at night when, in early March, they suddenly began roosting at a spot just outside the pen. We were mystified. This wasn't good! After a few days of this, Hilary (a zoo keeper from nearby Disney’s Animal Kingdom) and I hatched a plan to find the cause.  Continue...
