Tara-
Did you do this by yourself or in a group? I'm doing this on my own and wonder if I've done enough or not. I've spent the bulk of the last three weeks watching videos, reading the text and doing all the activities. I've typed up all of my responses and just need to finalize a project. I teach 7th grade, so much of these topics are not approached. I teach an introductory unit on Genetics and Evolution, but do not get into as much detail. I also have no students for the student work! The only kids around me are in elementary school. I may have to beg my husband to be my student.
Have you recieved your grade yet or did you submit for the summer as well?
Jen

Hi Jen, I just sent my materials in and don't have my activities with me but I do remember a couple places where the directions were confusing. I was glad they supplied answers so I could figure it out backwards. I think you wil still be able to answer the questions and understand what they want even if the activity doesn't quite work. Tara

PS I am glad I finally got an email through this, I registered in April and hadn't heard anything until you, unfortunately I finished the course already.

I am trying to work on the Molecular Clock activity for the Human Evolution Unit. In part 2, I am supposed to calibrate the clock of sequence divergence to known age, but the manual told me to put the sequence divergence on the X axis and the known age on the Y axis. A proper line graph should have the controlled data, in this case the known age, on the X axis. Am I correct in my belief or do they know something that I do not?
