    • Hi Theresa,

    It was nice to get a response to my e-mail regarding Annenberg's Arts in Every Classroom. No one at all answered earlier while I was completing my required work so I went ahead and submitted it with a copy of the e-mail I had sent with a note saying I got no response.

    I was initially taking the course to renew my Massachusetts Teaching Certificate and ended up working for graduate credit on it also which I got through Colorado State University. We just moved here from Boston last summer. We are in Fort Collins and enjoying it very much.

    I have one grown son so I couldn't use him for the course. There is a day-care center not too far from me and I thought about checking with them but since I was new to the area and they didn't know me I hesitated to try there.

    Anyway, I submitted my paperwork and got credit from both Annenberg and CSU. I thoroughly enjoyed Arts in Every Classroom and was wishing I had my own class to experiment with. There were some great ideas. I taught elementary about ten years altogether in Massachusetts. We are still settling in from the move so I have to decide what to do next.

    Your ideas were great. Let me know how you made out. Please let me know if I can be of any help. I found myself doing a ton of work on the course - probably more than I needed to.

          I am in the same boat and working around a crazy schedule. Do you have kids? Use them and their friends. Or neighbors or contact a summer camp one that is daycare related. You will probably end up with a small group of younger kids, but small is good when your trying to teach to kids you don't know. Hope it works!
